By special invitation,
I found myself climbing my way up
My heights of fear left behind
At the corner where you first
Glanced with bold brown eyes
Compelled by dance steps of joy,
And a meeting of perfect symmetry.
Amongst the green slivery leaves
Where birds nested for the night
And the sky and its gods
Were so much closer at hand,
You welcomed me with
Sweet music, enchanting hats
Dance and storytelling.
Under the magical light of the moon,
High in the tree top branches,
Your fragrant Cupid curls
Enticed me into your dance
Surrendering my heart and spirit
In an embrace of celestial sense
And alchemical proportions.
Surrounded by the tree elementals,
We explored the magic of chemistry,
Otherworldly dust and the impulse of love
Until the moon shyly looked away
And the sun rose from pure curiosity,
Spreading its compelling rays
Throughout the curious treehouse.
